Completing the RoboGuts™ circuit board circuit

Saving $'s on sensors, devices and motors etc. is essential for everybody so I recommend looking for kits like this on eBay and finding the best bang for the buck prices.

Seems like I can never get enough jumpers and they too are cheap on eBay. These make building so much faster and easier.

* The MCU or MicroController Chip or Module *

You can use most of the common MCUs on the market today. PIC chips, ATMEGA 328P (the Arduino chip), ARM chips, PICAXE Chips 'n Modules (my favorite is the PICAXE 28X2 module)

Same size as the ATMEGA 328P Arduino chip which also works great on the RoboGuts™

The hardest part is making the wiring for power and LEDs and you can see why I run out of jumpers, I cut the long ones in half to make cabeling for other components.

Usually this is the only cable making required for your projects and you may only have to solder up LED wiring as there are many batteries that come with compatible 2-pin headers and you might not need the power switch and simply add a jumper on those pins.

* The SparkFun Mono Audio Amplifier *
I'm hoping to build a compatible amplifier onto the RoboGuts™ circuit board so they don't have to be such an expensive option.

Installing the connector pins correctly on the SparkFun mono audio amplifier is inperative for making speaker connections easy.

Inserting the SparkFun mono audio amplifier into the RoboGuts™ correctly helps too.

* The SpeakJet Synth chip *
I'm hoping to build the SpeakJet Synth chip onto the RoboGuts™ circuit board so they don't have to be such an expensive option.

You can see the ground jumpers on the entire 9-pin row to the left side of the chip and the two red V+ jumpers and the green ground jumper on the right side of the chip.
