The fun project to make a flying saucer table lamp ...

Pie Pan Top, Bottom, a Salad Kit Bowl and the little Salad Dressing Dish.

One 5mm hole cut into each rectangle space to host an LED. I measured the size of the rectangle to 3D print a little white PLA cap to cover the LED so the colors are softened and made more visible on the Flying Saucer.

Using 12V CCL Tubes on the lamp requires switching 12V ON/OFF so for a couple of bucks I got an 8-Relay array board. I have the jumper on the board set to LOW = ON for the Relays. Using a cheaper MCU with B.0 to B.7 for the CCL control.

With a PICAXE it's easy to toggle ON/OFF pins in various ways so I've included two samples.

The last stage is finall connections ... I used JST power cables, they're very affordable in packs of 10 or more on eBay.
