The Radio Shack Theremin kit is not as great as I hoped for a Thereming like device, but it is still something to experiment with starting with the program samples provided.

IF you noticed I pull the two wires apart and that opens a short across an added 10K? resistor I had soldered in series with the Photoresistor to lower the pitch of the Theremin.

My suggestion is to solder in two wires to be able to add any resistor between two female connectors on the wiring for pitch adjusting your Theremin.

One wire ties directly to the one Radio Shack Theremin solder point, while the other wire is soldered to the photoresistor tail not soldered into the Radio Shack Theremin circuit board.

Set the LED ON to create the highest pitch on the Radio Shack Theremin and experiment with various resistor values so that the highest pitch doesn't make the dog bark.
