A servomotor is a rotary actuator or linear actuator that allows for precise control of angular or linear position, velocity and acceleration. Source: Wiki Have the students figure out the speed of the chip, the speed of the sensor, the round-trip time of flight from the UltraSonic to the target. They already know the distance from the sensor to the target as a reference. Looking up data sheets online and digging out the info and doing the math makes for a middle-school level of research (reverse enginnering.) |
